WHAT IS Autism?

 

 Autism is a syndrome, a disorder invasive, abutting (engl.) (deep) development, which has different clinical aspects.

Autism is not a branch, a manifestation of schizophrenia.

Disorders are biochemical origin and cause a brain dysfunction, disruption of the acquisition / processing incoming messages to the brain, leading to autistic isolation. Statistically, 10% of cases of autism are caused by genetic transmission.

Onset of autism:

1. Since the birth are signs of abnormal development;

2. in most cases, development is normal until around the age of 2 years - 2 years and half after appearing autism (to lose all "acquisitions" until then - the language, communication, etc..).

Usually, the diagnosis should not be set earlier than 3 years because it is risky, can be confused with mental delay.

Statistics show that the proportion is one girl 4 guys who are affected by autism. Girls in contrast, is specific to Rett syndrome, which is classified abutting disorders, invasive depth of development.

WHAT, HOW TO MANIFEST?

 

1. Abnormalities in the relationship with objects and people

2. Sensory - motricitatea

3. Communication and language

children with autism are verbal and nonverbal;
